| That is why you sign-on |

I always thought people who signed-on into the @rmy were very Garang(enthusiastic). I was wrong. Very wrong.
My b1tch of a boss has been in the @army for over 20 freaking years. Gee. For 20 years, she has been doing the same old freaking thing. -_-
Today, we had a meeting for some project that's suppose to cut-costs,improve work quality and productivity. Sounds like a school project? Kind of. So all of us gathered before her(again) to discuss about our projects. I was first.
My project is about converting our hardcopy record books into softcopies. E.g: We have a book whereby we write down the names and the IC number of any serviceman who gets posted to my unit. No signature required. So one day i thought, since no signature is required, why not do this in Excel? Therefore i came out with this project to convert all record books into softcopies.
It's a very simple project and nothing special. There's no impact cos it incorporate latest technologies into creating it BUT, it saves costs and increases productivity from my point of view.
Record books aren't durable. Being paper, they are very prone to wear and tear. Moreover, everyone has different handwritings. Some are neat some are totally illegible. It also takes alot of effort to search for a specific person inside the book because there are alot of names. Lastly, whenever we need the book, we have to walk over to the cabinet to get it and update whatever is necessary. Capiche?
I hope so.
Thus, by using spreadsheet, we can achieve the same purpose with minimal effort. Why? Because all we have to do is open up a fresh excel file and type in the necessary information. On top of that, we don't have to go to a cabinet to look for the file. All we need to do is open the file and that's it. In the event that we need to update it half-way through some work, all we have to do is ALT+TAB to it and fill it up. if we need to search for a specific name, there's always ctrl+f.
Simple? Convenient?
And on top of that, we can have multiple copies of the file because all it takes is to copy+paste. We can also send it to one another in case someone has to look for a specific person and we have no time to find it. It's also secured. Why? cos it's bloody encrypted. No one not using the protected computers can read it. Gee.
I explained all of this to my Boss but she keeps saying that it is too troublesome. She gives excuses like,
' I'm too busy, i won't have time to look through this. And what's more, my mail is always jammed and if i see your mail i will most likely just delete it '
Ya duh, it's not like you go through the damned record book yourself anyway. She'll just ask any random person outside to check it for her and give her the result. _|_ you.
' If all the computers are down, then how? ' Gee. If someone shreded the record book, then how? FCKING HELL?!
Apparently, this are the questions that the higher authorities may ask during the interview, she's just doing this to test if our project is totally Flawless.
FCK YOU MAM, what project is flawless? NONE! Geezus chrize. I know there is no stupid question, but stupid, senseless, senile people.
You mdm, are one of them. so, FCK YOU!
Gd day.
I'll play for you.
