Hi guys.

Yeah, I know i've not updated this blog for a long time. I've been too lazy and too tired to create an entry. Well, since tomorrow is an Off day for me, I guess i'll write something to make up for the missing entries.

Today, was a good day, more or less. The day began with a roll call at 0745 by the duty personnel. Thereafter, my clicks and i went back to our office to begin work.

I was given a task to do for the boss on Saturday, since I was on duty on that day. I did complete like 80% of it. I decided to complete the remaining 20% Today. It was a bad choice. She was expecting me to complete it on Saturday and have it on her desk by this morning. LOL. I didn't know as she hadn't informed me. She only told me that she wanted it by Monday. She didn't even state that it was urgent. :/

Oh well. So because of that my morning began with a few sarcastic remarks by her. pfft. Couldn't be bothered actually. Anyways. I completed the job in 15mins and gave it to her. Glad that she didn't reject my work. Hur.

Another interesting thing that's currently happening is that, the Best Soldier system is kinda screwed now.

A brief idea on Best Soldiers. A Soldier is nominated by the various branches of my unit every month. The nominees are then given a rating by the various Head of Departments. Whoever gets the highest rating gets the award and is crowned the Best Soldier for THAT month. Note the bold word. Subsequently, a plaque is created for that guy and is usually presented on the First Wednesday of that month. If he isn't present, then i just hand it over to him personally.

This isn't the case though. I usually receive like 3 to 4 nominees. And these guys are rated accordingly. A surprising thing is that, all of them get the award. LOL. How? Well they get the award in sequence with their ratings. So let's say Soldier A is rated 5. B is 3. A is 1. So, A getting the highest rating gets the award for January, B for February and A for March. LOL? So screwed eh? It's quite unfair but i'm fine with it since it makes the job easier for me. So much for ISO and PDS huh. Recently though, the boss changed the system to her liking. Such that, the best soldier for the following month is announced along with the soldier for the current month. WTF? Even though the system is quite screwed, I don't think it's also wise to show people that we have a corrupted system. ZzzzZ. I tried to emphasise to her that the dude is for next month and that it would be better for us to present it next month but she wouldn't listen. Stubborn bitch. Up to her. Bleah.

Oh, is having a Degree as amongst all your Diploma and A level counterparts in the organization such a big deal? I mean, geez. You obviously got your fucking degree coz you did so bad in your O's and skipped ITE/Diploma to pursue some random degree in Australia. Yeah, the regulars in the unit are dumb asses who think your so freakin smart coz you've got a degree. But not us. No sir. We bloody know how you got your degree and that it's nothing outside. Pfft. Eventually, most of us will pursue our own degrees after we complete our service. zzzz. On top of that, you don't portray yourself a degree holder. Geez, even an ITE(no offense intended) grad can do better than you. fukin noob.
