having.....a back up...

No, not backup for files, but a backup for a failed relationship. I've asked this question to couple of friends and I've decided to put it here.

When you initiate a breakup or experience one, do you think the initial pain would hurt less or have no hurt at all if you have a backup? Perhaps overtime, it may begin to hurt, but it won't hurt as bad as not having a spare.

What do you think?

Well I think the above is most likely true, I say I think, because I've not experienced it but I gather some of those who experienced it kind of agree to that statement. I feel as such because, once you leave a person or have been left by a person, at least you have someone else to turn to. Someone who probably provide almost the same thing as the previous did, therefore, the loss won't feel so great. I know this is more of a moral issue and please try to think more openly and understand how you feel and think.

I'm not trying to advocate such a practice and I am truly against it. I am personally curious to know whether such feelings exist and what are the opinions of others on it.

Sigh.

In other news, I've been trying to get my friends to go out during the holidays and i can sense that it is going to be tough. Bleah.

I'll play for you.
