People you know

Have you ever felt that there is no one out there who you can talk to comfortably? without worries of repercussions of what you say or do?

Even if you did have someone to pour out your shit to, have you ever felt that it just falls on deaf ears?

Why do I say that? Have you ever experienced situations where you are telling someone how something terrible is happening to you and how it sucks and all. That person agrees and try to comfort you and stuff. Yet, when you ask for help to actually do something, they Arent there? They become probably the first people to abandon you.

So what do we call these people? Friends? Good friends? We tell them some of our deepest secrets and they even share some of theirs with us, yet, all these are just talk. When it boils down to action, nothing happens. Action here, I mean by help. When the help is actually something inconvenient.

They shun away from it.

Have you ever felt as such? Why is it that when it comes to inconvenience, the lines are drawn.

I do this too, I know. But I do it to people I am not close to. Why? Because we are not close, that's why. But what about people you are close to?

What Is the use of knowing hundreds or maybe thousands of people, when maybe only 1 out of the many would bother to inconvenience himself or herself to help you?

Is it to ensure that on your wedding day your tables are filled? Is it to ensure that on your birthday you have people celebrating with you? Is it so that you don't have to go clubbing alone? Is it to prove your existence?or is it to feel loved?

If it is to feel loved, well, that love is bullshit.

Pui.
